תיאור התפקיד: 

מתן תמיכה מקצועית וטכנית לחוקרים המבצעים מחקרים פרה-קליניים, בדגש על ביצוע פרוצדורות מיקרו-כירורגיות, הקמה ומתן שירות בתחום ההזרקות הסטריאוטקטיות והפעלת יחידת התנהגות, במכרסמים.

מיקרו-כירורגיה:

• ביצוע פרוצדורות מיקרו-כירורגיות במודלים של חיות מעבדה, בעיקר במכרסמים
• תמיכה בחוקרים בתכנון ובהטמעה של פרוצדורות כירורגיות ומיקרו-כירורגיות
• הדרכת חוקרים וסטודנטים בטכניקות מיקרו-כירורגיות, עבודה אספטית וטיפול סביב הניתוח
• פיתוח ושיפור טכניקות כירורגיות בהתאם לצורכי קבוצות המחקר

הזרקות ופרוצדורות סטריאוטקטיות:

• הדרכה מעשית של חוקרים וסטודנטים בשימוש במערכת סטריאוטקטית ובטכניקות להזרקה מדויקת
• סיוע בבחירת קואורדינטות, התאמת הפרוצדורה למודל הניסוי ופתרון בעיות טכניות
• פיתוח והטמעת SOP's ושיטות עבודה סטנדרטיות בתחום

תמיכה ביחידת ההתנהגות:

• תמיכה שוטפת בפעילות יחידת ההתנהגות כיחידת שירות מחקרית
• הדרכת חוקרים וסטודנטים בשימוש במערכות ובציוד ההתנהגותי
• סיוע בהקמה ובהרצה של ניסויים התנהגותיים בהתאם לפרוטוקולים מאושרים
• אחריות על תקינות הציוד, תחזוקה שוטפת, כיולים ותיאום טיפול בתקלות
• סיוע בפיתוח, הטמעה וסטנדרטיזציה של שיטות עבודה ביחידה
